With the help of friends in the community he finally found the perfect space, but it required a little imagination.
It had been used as a rubbish room for years.
In the beginning, it seemed impossible that the space could develop into something so wonderful!
Local Upper West Siders who have followed Mike for years contributed time and talent to help make the dream a reality.
Mike wanted a community table where people could gather.
